In science we did a revision of the weather chapter, weather patterns, severe weather, water cycle, seasons of the year and how they affect people, animals and plants. Then we started to talk about different types of energy: sound, heat and light. They could also see the difference between the renewable and non-renewable energy.
This week we had a review of spelling words the students had before. We had a read aloud of the book The Twits by Roald Dahl. We also had an activity with Shel Silverstein’s poem The Eight Balloons, where students created their own illustrated book.
