Great news this week! We welcomed a new student, a first boy in our class!
Apart from participating in a theater show and celebrating Chinese New Year, we did study a bit as well 😉

English: Our focus was identifying characters and their actions in a story. Spelling test words: eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty.

Math: We started working with place value: finding groups of tens, counting them, adding ones, moving around the 100 grid.
The kids asked me to include the link to a ‘place value baking’ game they really love 🙂

Science: We started the topic of habitats.
