English: Last week we read started reading a folktale and will analyze it this upcoming week. In writing, we focused on informational text and composed a few sentences about beavers building dams, based on a video we watched. In grammar, we worked a bit on exact verbs.
New spelling words: away, multiply, pair, equal, able, events, tusk, task, house, point.

Math: We are now working on multiplications. The main focus is on the multiples of 2, 5 and 10 but some part of the class is doing much more than that. Last week’s focused was introduction of the concept. The upcoming week we will be mastering the 2s, 5s, and 10s times tables.

Science: A new topic has arrived: natural resources. We taled about what kind and way of using natural resources we know.
