The kindergarten children learned to add using a counting ladder. We are still working on sums to 6. We traced number 8. In language arts, we learned the sound “t”, and started blending sounds (s-a-t). We read Cinderella and made some glittery shoes. New toys/games were introduced to the children. We started learning a poem about a little turtle. Finally, we learned the days of the week.
English: In English, we have been working with the sound I, and learning new concept words (brother, sister, family, father, mother, grandparent).
Science: In Science, We have continued with talking about temperature changes.
Social studies: In Social Studies, we have been talking about community workers.
Math: In math, we have been counting up to ten, writing the numbers and sorting objects.
