Fourth Grade News

In the fourth grade, we concluded our persuasive writing unit! The students have come a long way with their persuasive writing pieces. They have learned to include paragraphs, counterclaims, explanations, and transitions in their writing all within a specified time frame. I am so proud of them and they should feel proud of themselves, too!

Science

In sicence the students wrote their test and we moved on to discussing such terms as ecosystems and habitats, communities and populations.

In social studies some students volunteered to prepare presentations about their cultures or religions. I would like to thank Ghaid, Reef and Mohammed for teaching us all about Islam and Gul Sheza for presenting the history and culture of India.

A special thank you goes to Roger, who donated his toys for our Pre-kg children. They were very happy and grateful!
