The kindergarten children have had a busy week working on their geography world map project. We learned the names of the continents and oceans. In math we continued practising counting in 2’s, measuring using a ruler, subtracting and patterns. We learned the sound “f” and lots of new words. We added 10 new words from the high frequency list. We learned the song Hey diddle diddle, and the rhyme Rub-a-dub-dub. We talked about disabled people and practised walking blind-folded. We made progress with our dinosaur topic and project. Children
