The kindergarten children learned about volcanoes. We did a pretend eruption experiment and learned the vocabulary connected with volcanoes. In math we practised sums and subtractions to 10. We made some patterns using blocks. We counted by 5 to 50. In language arts we completed the 3rd Jolly Phonics book. We read and wrote short sentences. In social studies we talked about country and city life. We started talking about water/bodies of water in science.
English: In English, we have been working with the sound t, and learning concept words (branch, color, hot, jungle, leaf, trunk).
Science: In Science, We have been reviewing objects in the sky.
Social studies: In Social Studies, we have been reviewing when the seasonal changes affect needs.
Math: In math, we have been making numbers 6,7.
