The last few days in school were very busy for our Kindergarten class!
In language arts, we finished working on the /d/ sounds.
In maths, we finished our 2D shapes unit.
In science, we finished our unit on Scientific skills.
In social studies, we finished learning about Thanksgiving eating our own Thanksgiving lunch on Wednesday!
However, the most exciting day for us was Tuesday, when we attended the Our Little Hospital medical workshop! We learned about the role of human bones, blood cells, brain and other organs. We listened to our own heartbeat with stethoscopes, and looked at an ultrasound image. Finally, we made candy medicine, performed a surgery on a giant teddy bear, and tended to our own normal sized teddy bears.
